If your Dell computer does not turn on or boot into the operating system, it is recommended that you first perform a hard reset. Performing a hard reset usually fixes many problems and also drains any residual power that may be causing the problem.

You can check how to perform the hard reset and other troubleshooting here.

Given the age of a T3400 (more than 12 years) cmos battery, hard drive, and power supply may all be issues.

Rather than fix get another for testing.

In my area at least this is less than diagnostics and 2 hours of repair time.

Hi @precisiont3400,

It would help to have a little more info.  Does anything turn on when you press the power button?  Any diagnostic lights?  If you turn on and immediately begin pressing F2, does it let you enter BIOS?

If it's completely dead, then it's very likely the PSU is dead too.

Hi @DELL-Nathalia M,

The video you meant to reference isn't linked.
