Precision 5820 and 2xGTX1080TI

Hi Community!

we are struggling with a 5820 system using a 950W powers supply and trying to use 2xGTX1080Ti cards.

According to the DELL-support this is not possible. But the next suitable system is almost double the price!

Did anyone succeed in using two GTX1080 Ti in a 5820 Workstation? Any help highly appreciated!

I belive that the 950W power supply should be enough to drive those two cards. Unfortunately there are only two 8Pin-power connectors. We would need two additional 6Pin connectors.
