Precision T5810 Standard ATX Motherboard Swap Compatibility issue

I want to swap the t5810 motherboard with a standard ATX motherboard that is not from dell, I understand that the mounts wont fit a standard ATX motherboard and I am already planning on fixing that but I was just reading something that was explaining that dell makes some psu's proprietary to dell only motherboards. Would that mean that I HAVE to get a new psu?
