Ram Memory Frequency vs Intel CPU compatibility

Hello everyone, I kindly wanted to ask for information. These days I would like to buy a Dell Precision 3630 with Intel i5 8500 processor. On the intel site it is reported that this CPU only supports ram memories with a frequency of 2666mhz. In case I install memories with a frequency of 2400mhz, could be problems of compatibility, malfunctions or processor that works at a lower frequency? thank you for taking the time to read this message
