T3600 Nvidia GTX 1050 screen disconnects under load
Hi
I am trying to install a gtx 1050 card in a T3600. All latest drivers loads OK and the thing is recognised but when I try to run a benchmark or play a game the screen disconnects. Tried this with a GTX 750 also and had teh same issue which leads me to think it is elsewhere than the card..
PS - the Quadro 2000 card works fine...

Did you get a fix for this issue?

So the card works for normal desktop use? It just dies when you push it?
PSU:
First thoughts it was a power issue. Looking at nvidia GeForce 10 Series Graphics Cards (nvidia.com) it says you need a 300w PSU and according to the spec sheet you should be just about OK Dell Precision T3600 Spec Sheet | Dell
Another avenue to check:
Did you use task manager or Dell Optimizer to get a reading on the GPU heat level when you push it? I used to have an old Quadro 4000 (Fermi) and it would get close to 90 Celsius on a stress test which was not good. Perhaps your 1050 has a broken fan or the heat to fan RPM map is somehow wrong....
https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards MSI Afterburner has a tool to allow you to change/monitor the GPU fan.
