USB-C to DisplayPort Daughterboard on Precision 3630
Curious if anyone out there is knowledgeable on this connectivity option on the Precision line of workstations. There isn't a lot of information out there on this optional add-in card.
Theoretically, would it be possible to connect an external HDD via USB-C to DisplayPort Daughterboard port on the machine and use that as a drive? I know DP supports such connectivity via the DP AUX channel, but I'm a bit fuzzy on this particular add-in component.
I have a USB-C drive / enclosure and a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.

Check out this thread regarding a Thunderbolt 3 Card for Precision 3630 Tower. Dell part# 555-BEOX, with 2 USB Type-C ports and 1 DP-in port.
