What Are the Tech Spec Differences Between the Dell Precision T5400 vs the T7400?

I have set out to build a gaming pc out of the Dell Precision T5400.  I now have in my Possession a T7400 and I was Wondering what the Main Real differences are besides Physical Size?  Im going to Paint it and cut a nice window in the door and put Plexi Glass in it and it will look really nice But i want to know if the T7400 has more Potential then the T5400 or is it just the Power Supply Difference.

I am going to move my T5400 Motherboard into a Dell 690 case witch is identical to the 7400 so i can put whatever motherboard in there i choose cause it has the room.

Thanks

The T7400 supports more memory and storage than the T5400. Here's the specifications for both models:

My one other question would be Processor upgrade ,

Does the dell 7400 have a greater potential for processor upgrade?

I through the internet on some forum somewhere that the fastest processor for the T5400 was the

xeon 5470 3.33 ghz quad core

Can the T7400 Beat that?

The highest rated CPU that Dell shipped with the T5400 was indeed the X5470, whilst the highest rated that the T7400 shipped with was the X5492. However, both motherboards use the Intel E5400 chipset so it should be possible to use the same CPUs (the X5492 is the highest rated CPU that the chipset supports)

If you are going to upgrade, make sure that the BIOS is updated beforehand.
