After BIOS update 7530 can only boot with charger connected

After updating BIOS to version 1.13.1, my Precision 7530 can only boot when the charger is connected, not on battery power.

Yes, it's the same issue as discussed on 7540 here: https://www.dell.com/community/Precision-Mobile-Workstations/Precision-7540-will-only-boot-Linux-if-charger-is-connected/m-p/7523968#M3185

However, it seems in the 7540 case that updates have fixed this issue, but my 7530 update is actually newer than this. So I received the issue on 7530 after it seems to be fixed on 7540.

I would try the grub fix presented in the mentioned forum thread, but I'm on Pop!_OS 20.04, which runs systemd-boot rather than Grub, so frankly I wouldn't know quite what to do.

Hope this issue will be fixed in a update soon. And I'm also open to try fixes for systemd-boot, if anyone knows what to do.
