Prescision M6800 Upgrade to GTX 980m(Driver Issues)

Hello everyone, I've currently installed a GTX 980m in my laptop but I'm having issues with modding the drivers. Windows automatically recognizes and installs GRD 388.13. It has been having many weird issues with directx. Some games will freeze but pressing esc to go open the menu reveals a cursor in genshin impact. I've had bluescreens when loading up fortnite all involving dkgkrnl.sys+26254e. I've modded the latest grd for my gtx980m but have had no luck fixing directx. Any ideas?
