We have 2 girls in Anguila who connect to our Database In Jersey/Channel Islands UK, via Terminal services. They access All the data, Microsoft office and their email Via the terminal services session.
The printer Although, locally connected in Anguila, Is mapped to be used Via Terminal Services Run on a server here in the UK.
So basically the PC's are just access points to connect to our Network, they are not used for anything else (No data,No email,No Office apps)
To clarify: The people in Anguila are actually connected to servers in the UK (as if they were sitting there) and any priint jobs are sent to the printer physically located in Anguila.
Correct?
Additionally, the printer does function correctly when printed to from the local PC's in Anguila?
2. Are you just printing to the 1815dn's, or,Via Terminal Services,Its printing Only
3. Are you also using the multifunction capabilities of the machine?Locally ,its used Multifunctional
4. How are the 1815dn's connected to the local machines? (Network or USB?)Network
5. Are the remote offices (in Anguila) on a local LAN for that office? They are on a local LAN for that Office only
6. Is all the equipment in that office connected to that LAN?Yes
I really appreciate your time on this.,We will try out your suggestion with the generic driver ,but I'm sure the Manager has tried this, I will let you know of course.
By chance, was a speed test ever run on the network performance to Anguila when it was working, vs. now?
Is it possible that the network route you use was damaged in that earthquake and the line perfomance has been degraded, or, you have been shifted to an alternate, slower performing route?
If you haven't made any settings or driver changes..... it may be time to look outside your shop.

Yes thats correct, Girls connected to the UK server where they access email and data, They print to the 1815 located in the Anguilan office.
It will only print test pages, both locally and via terminal services.

My partner and I have some more questions, and some info for you.
Questions:
1. Has this EVER worked?
2. Are you just printing to the 1815dn's, or,
3. Are you also using the multi-function capabilities of the machine?
4. How are the 1815dn's connected to the local machines? (Network or USB?)
5. Are the remote offices (in Anguila) on a local LAN for that office?
6. Is all the equipment in that office connected to that LAN?
We also found a Microsoft KB article that may or may not apply to your circumstance. Go to:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q302361Something you may wish to try is installing a Generic Microsoft PCL driver just to see if this works ...... it may provide us another data-point.

I guess the only question I have in response to your last post is.....
If this has worked in the past, what has changed so it doesn't function now?
We'll wait for your updates.
(and thanks for the link you provided..... looks interesting)

Are you using land-line or satellite?
If satellite..... and after an earthquake..... is the satellite still pointed correctly?
