I have no solution yet.  So far I have talked with 4 different Dell Tech Support personnel.  I changed out the toner as they told me.  Nothing has worked, thus far.  I did see the problem listed on the Dell Tech Support, however, no solution was listed.  I am waiting for another email response to this problem.  As soon as I hear something I will be listing it on here as well.

DevineMsB,

I, too, am having this problem. I saw one other message about this on the board, but no one had offered a solution.

Have you found anything on this yet?

This problem sound for me like a problem with the imaging drum. I have only some 5100cn, but the old oki had the same problem. Try to replace the imaging drum and the color dots shold dissapear.

That shouldn't be the problem, I wouldn't think. I've printed less than 100 pages. It's a brand new printer.

My printer is a month old too.  Maybe the drums just aren't made real well.  I got a faulty one right out the shoot.  When I get the new one in, we'll know if that is the problem.  I'll let you all know.

I spoke with Dell support again Friday night and they said that it is a bad drum.  I ran some test on it (with their help) and found that was the problem.  They are sending out a new one.  Thanks for everyones help!!!

800-822-8965 option 3 for tech support.  This is the small business tech support.  You don't want to call the printer support because you will get ink jet and they know nothing about the laser printers.
