924 error code 1203 printhead short

I keep getting an error code 1203 {printer head short} I have taken all the steps of unplugging unit,
removing/replacing the cartridges.When I try to print alignment sheet there is a different amount
of content { one line to almost complete sheet } and a slight variation of color, then it stalls again with error message.

I am having the same problem.  Has anyone found a solution to this problem?  I have tried all of the advice in the owners manual as well as the online trouble shooting guide.  Thanks, MarilynJean
