AIO 942 memory Card Reader
I have read the previous posts regarding this issue - nohelp. The reader in my printer will read 16MB and 128MB xD Picture Cards with no problem. I purchased a 2GB xD Picture Card from Dell and the printer will not read it. It will also not read a 2GB SD picture card from my daughter's Cannon Power Shot. What is the maximum size card the 942 will read? Does anyone know? Is there any mod available which will cure this issue; or do I have to buy a newer printer?

Dave,
Your Dell Printer was made a few years back, before the larger memory cards came out. There may be a firmware updtae for the printer but it's doubtful of the memory card of a larher size will be able to be read.
I usually take my memory cards and put them in the card reader on my computer, then send the information to the printer to print.
It might be just the brand name of card that might not be read but I would think that because only 1gb cards were out, theat the printer might not be able to handle the larger size mempry cards.

Many thanks for your quick response. Suspicions Confirmed! I'll just continue to use my USB connection to transfer the pictures.
