Hi,

Please uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

Download and install an Uninstaller program from the link provided below.

http://www.revouninstallerpro.com/download-professional-version.php

  • Click the link.
  • Save the file to the desktop.
  • Double-Click the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
  • Open the Revo Uninstaller program and click Canon printer driver and click uninstall. In the new window select “Advanced mode”.
  • The utility detects the registry entries corresponding to the printer and will prompt to delete them, select all and delete them.”

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Ensure that the following services in the Windows are set to “automatic” and are started.

  1. Human Interface Devices (HID).
  2. Printer Spooler.
  3. Remote Procedure Call (RPC).
  4. Remote Procedure Call Locator (RPC Locator).
  5. Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
  6. Windows Installer.

To change the services, click Start, type “services.msc” in the search box and hit the Enter key.

Look for each of the service, right click one at a time, and click Properties.

  • Set the Service to “Automatic”.
  • Click on “Start”.

Once all the services are enabled, please download the Canon Pixma MG5220 printer driver from the link given below.

NOTE: Do not connect the printer to the computer using the USB cable. Ensure the printer is powered on.

  • Click the above mentioned link.
  • Save the file to the desktop.
  • Double-Click the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
  • The installation wizard would prompt to connect the printer amidst of the installation, please connect the printer at that point.

Print a page now and let me know if this fixes the issue.

Bruise01,

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue.

Make sure the printer is not usb cable connected to the computer.

Start, control panel, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

Restart the computer. Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

This gives you a clean start to install the printer. If the printer came with a printer disk, then insert the printer disk and install the drivers first. Choose additional computer, netwiork and follow the instructions.

Remember virus programs anf firewalls will block communications.

Bruise01,

Stuck print job(s) can cause problems.

Can you tell if the printer is connected to your network?

If you had any electrical storms or powr flickers, it also can cause problems with the connection of the adapters.

Power off your ISP modem/router and your wireless router(if any) for 30 seconds. Then power on the ISP modem/router. Wait 15 seconds, then power on the wireless router(if any)

Restart the computer and try to connect.

Unplug the printer from the wall. Wait 20 seconds, then plug the printer back in. Does the printer connect to your network?

It could also be the type of security you're using, channel, etc. I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11. If you change anything other than the channel, you'll need to set up the printer like you did when first purchased. I would make a new SSID to make connecting easier.

Virus program and firewalls will also block communications.

I have a Canon Pixma MG5220 color printer [actually it’s what Canon calls an “all-in-one printer” -DT] and all of a sudden it’s popping the error code B200 (canon printer offline), showing the message “Printer error has ocurred. Unplug the power cord and contact the service center.” on the tiny screen. Windows 7 has no idea there’s anything wrong when I try to print. It just doesn’t work. What does “B200” mean and how do I fix it?

To setup Canon Printer first locate and note down your Printer model.Attach your Canon Printer to computer thru USB cable connection.
It will automatically install the drivers and Canon Printer Error Code 1403 but you need to connect with wireless option.
