Cleaning the Ink Cartridge Nozzles
As a last note on improving print quality. The Dell Photo Printer 720 owmers manual reads on Page 29, "If you are not satisfied with the print quality, wipe the ink cartridge nozzles, and then print your document again". It does not say how to do this or what to use and does not have an illustration. What do I use to "wipe the nozzles" and how do I go about it?

You can "wipe" them with a damp cloth and then dry the nozzle end. However, if they are clogged and not printing or printing erratically you can soak the nozzle end of the cartridge in a shallow container of warm (not hot) water for about 10 minutes then blot dry, reinstall.
If these are refilled cartridges that are having problems or leaking, it's time for new cartridges.
