Color lines on right edge
I have a Dell Inkjet Printer J740, and it prints color lines (blue, magenta, yellow) near the right edge of the paper. The vertical lines are about 5/16" tall. It doesn't matter what software, the lines print all of the time. How do I stop these unwanted lines from printing?

Check the Nozzle Clean Prinout to verify that it is free of defects and all expected color bars exist.
If there are still lines try opening the cover.
Remove the ink cartridges.
Take a clean, damp cloth and wipe the nozzle of the print cartridge from front to back.
NOTE: Never wipe the cartridges from side to side as this will cause cross contamination in color cartridges.
Re-install the ink cartridges.
Close the cover.
Remove the power brick from the back of the printer.
Wait five seconds.
Firmly reseat the power brick.
If the problem still exists try contacting technical support since the print cartridge may need to be replaced.
Respectfully,
