DELL A 920 all in one printer and VISTA
I have the above printer witht the latest drivers installed form the dell website and Windows VISTA Home Basic.
I can print all day long with no problems. MY snag is the scan and copy button dont work.
And there is no Dell A920 scanner or coppier software in the programs list except for the buy ink link.
Any suggestion would greatly be appreciated......Tim

Tim,
Try re-installing the drivers this way. You will get the Dell All-In-One Center in the drivers program, which allows you to scan. Do NOT join the ink improvement program when using Vista.
Disconnect your printer. Download and run this patch to completely remove the printer from your computer.
Restart your computer.
Download the proper drivers.
XP Drivers
Vista 32-bit Drivers
All other drivers
Install the proper drivers. You'll be prompted when to connect your printer(powered on)
Scanning
Scanning using USB connection, open the Dell All-In-One Center, click on scanning and copying and scan from there.
Scanning wirelessly, use the scan buttons on the printer.
