Dell 1110 Printer problems

My printer had been working just fine, now the indicator lights are:
Top (!) Amber
Bottom Green
The printer shows offline. There is toner in the cartridge. I push and hold the X button and it prints a demo page. But I can't print anything else. There is no paper jammed anywhere. Suggestions? Thanks!

I also have experienced the same problem...I thought is was because I had low toner 20% it printed this out when I printed the test page perfectly...when I went to print reservations...it was blank?????although I ..I still have the amber light and green.
If any one can suggest how I can print with this low toner issue...it would be appreciated.
I have ordered a new cartridge...3 to 5 days....and would like to use ALL the ink...in the low one
before replacing: MANY THANKS::smileywink::

Sorry guys... there is a sensor built into the cartridge that tells the printer when toner is low. I do however have a suggestion for you if you want to get the lowest cost-per-page with your printer.
Get a Max filled MICR toner caartridge from www.checksnet.com

Although you may not need to print checks, their cartridges are filled to maximum capacity and their MICR toner is the darkest toner I've ever seen, so you can reduce your toner darkness setting and get a much higher page yield per cartridge. Haven't used up all the toner yet in my printer but i can already tell you that 1 of their cartridges is equal to at least 4 regular toner cartridges.
