Dell 2335dn Disconnection Issues
I have a customer with a Dell 2335dn that is dropping users. I have seen that this is an issue with this printer.The following is what I have done.
Dell Laptop with docking station
Windows 7 Pro 64 Sp1
Updated the firmware and the Scan manager software.
Disabled all firewalls and AV
Can ping and print to the printer
Disabled the IPv6 and the wireless connection
After I installed the new scan manager it worked until the user undocked the computer to carry it home. The user reconnected it on Monday and it never showed up again. The printer had been rebooted many times as have the computer. Any suggestions would be great on how to troubleshoot this problem. Also what service and port does the computer use so that the printer will see it.

Update. I was at the customer site today. After I reloaded the Scan Manager software everthing worked. But it will stop working after I undock the laptop and re dock it. Also a computer will not show up if the computer is on but not logged in. What application is controlling the connection?
