I have also struggled with this lack of functionality in the Dell 2335dn. My work around is to do the scanning through Adobe Acrobat Pro, which will allow you to scan multiple pages before processing the whole document. If you are scanning pages from a booklet and can't orient the page properly, Adobe will rotate the pages automatically (assuming the page is text based) as it processes the document. It may be possible to scan in a similar fashion using other software, but Adobe Acrobat Pro meets all of my needs for this sort of thing, so I haven't tried other methods. I hope this helps.
