Dell MFP 3115cn adding extra color lines

Immediately after I put in brand new color ink I began to have a problem when I printed anything in color. It began striking yellow, red, and blue lines horizontally on the page. It also leaves ink splotches on the inside of the printer (on the black screen part... sorry I don't know the technical term). 

I talked to someone that thought this problem might be caused by a problem with the drum. They suggested buying a new printer. This was an expensive printer to just replace without trying to fix first. They also suggested I buy new ink but to get all of the color ink it will cost over $400. Well, I don't want to spend $400 to find out that they were wrong. Especially, since the ink I just installed brand new cost me $400 already. 

Something else to note is that it prints black perfectly and this problem only happen when printing color. I am also outside the warranty period. 

Any advice before I go crazy. This printer is used to print professional documents so they have to be perfect. I have attempted to attach a picture of a print to this post. Not sure if it will work or not.
