Dell Printer 1110 with MAC Computer
Hello,
I have an iMac computer and have been using my dell 1110 printer with it for a couple years now. Recently, the printer stopped working and I can't seem to figure out why. There is a yellow light on (solid) next to the exclamation point on the printer and a green light on next to the power symbol. There is new ink in the printer and no paper jam to speak of, so I don't know what to do. It seems to be either a compatability issue or connections issue, however all cords are plugged in and secured. I have unplugged, plugged, shutdown, restarted, and still nothing. I can print a test page from the printer directly by holding the big X button, but when I try to print a test page from my computer, it just pops up "error" in my printer window but wont tell me what the error is.
The only thing i can think of would be that it has to do with the new mac operating system that just came out. I upgraded the operating system to 10.7.1. I looked for a new driver, thinking that was the problem, but I can't find any driver at all for macs on the Dell website.
I'm am now at a loss and would appreciate any help or guidance I can get.
Thank you,
Dakota
