HP 1210 all-in-one system error

I have an hp 1210 printer installed. It functions flawlessly on another system and will print to align the heads and test prints on my xps. However when trying to print a document from word/excel/firefox/explorer/ect. on my xps the same error message occurs, stating the document could not be printed due to a system error. It suggests to try printing again or restart windows and try again, both of which i have tried multiple times with no success. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the software multiple times. I am stumped as to how to fix the problem
