My Printer ONLY Prints HTML Not Text
If I try to print from my FireFox browser or IE all I get is HTML and not text. It also happens in Outlook Express. I have a Canon PIXMA MP530 and Canon said this happens and I should contact Dell and here I am. I have had a lot of luck using the Dell Forums and know that you guys really know what's going on...Thanks and I hope to hear from someone soon because I need to print out some important documents......

Really sounds to me like Canon "blew you off....."
Let's back up here.
Does ANYTHING print correctly? For instance, from Microsoft Word, Excel, Notepad, etc.
And can you be a little more clear about the symptom?
You say it just prints "html"? Does that mean it prints the HTML raw code?, or garbage?

Thanks for the reply..II can print in Word, Notepad, Excel, but NOT IE or FireFox. When I try to do text article of the web and I do a "print preview" it looks like HTML raw code.... And it prints like that. I also called Cannon again and talked with another tech. And a supervisor and they both said it was not the fault of the printer because it will print fine with everything else. He said it can only print what it sees and if it's seeing raw code then I need to call Yahoo.
I tried to get a hold of Yahoo several weeks ago about a problem I was having with my website and I never got anyone to talk with me...II can't believe this is what's going on here....HELP!!

You ain't gonna believe this..... I was typing that exact suggestion when my "chime" told me I had mail..... this thread had been updated, checked and it was you.
I told ya that Canon blew you off......

I fixed it. I went in to 'internet options' in the 'advanced tab' I restored advanced settings. Woks fine now. Computers are EVIL!!
