Ordered new black toner for my Dell 5110cn Laser Printer, getting "type error"

Hi,

I ordered two brand new black toners that are compatible with Dell 5110cn Laser Printer directly from Dell.

When I tried to install the toners, I get "type error:" on the screen.

I've tried turning it off and on, no avail.

When I replaced the old toner, the error went away, but now my documents won't print because it says "replace black toner".

I made sure that the toner I bought was compatible with my printer.

I can't find answers anywhere to fix it.

Hi KRinternet,

I have checked the Toner you have purchased is indeed compatible with “Dell 5110cn”. This error is received when an unsupported toner is installed. The new toner needs to be replaced. Private message me the service tag of the printer and order number of your purchase, registered owners name, address, and primary/alternate contact numbers.

To private message, click my user name and click Start conversation.

I would do my best to assist you further.

Awaiting your response!
