Photo All-In-One Printer 926

HELP! I just replaced my black ink cartridge (3rd one) and every time I turn on the printer it prints a "test page". I am rapidly using up BOTH color and black ink cartridges. Computer Inspiron 530S with Vista Home Premium operating system. Would greatly appreciate any help.

First, did you replace the ink cartridges with Dell Series 9 ink cartridges? Dell Series 9 ink cartridges have a sensor in them that cannot be reset. Article on refilling Dell ink cartridges.

 

Dell Series 9 ink cartridges can be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's Website.

I purchased Dell Series 9 cartridge from Walmart. Also purchased/installed last cartridge from Walmart and had no problem.

Maybe the the ones at Walmart now have been there too long and have dried up. I would suggest that you take them back to Walmart for a refund or replacement. I would also suggest you try Staples or Dell's website, if you're not in a hurry for it. I order mine from Dell's website and they're at my home in 3 business days.
