Please HELP with 1110 Printer!!!!

I have a Personal Laser 1110 printer that suddenly began jamming on every print.  I just put in a new cartridge, and it does the same thing with the new as it did with the old.  When a print is sent to the printer it consistently jams in the same place, the paper gets drawn into the printer and then stops before anything is printed onto the paper.  To reset the system I have to remove the paper and cycle the printer off then back on.  This occurs in all the many programs I have attempted to print from including a test page from the printer properties dialog box, and the demo sheet using the button on the printer itself.  I have also tried different types of paper with the same results.
Any ideas as to what the problem is here?
Thank you in advance for any assistance or insight you might be able to offer.

Could this be an issue with the "reset fuse" on the toner cartridge?  The fuse looks clouded over and I am unable to see the filament to verify that it has "blown" or not.  How does this fuse work?  Just trying to narrow down the problem by eliminating components like the toner cartridge.

Thanks again,

The best way to check a fuse is with a typical volt meter or continuity tester.  For safety, remove fuse and test for continuity.

Can you tell me where you located the fuse on the printer?

found this in anoter post, I removed the toner cartridge and wiped down the center roller (found it to be dry and cracked) with a warm damp rag.  After this I printed 2 10 page docs with no problem.  sure beets printing them one page at a time fighting with each one!

""If there was an earlier jam, did ALL the paper get removed or did any tear off inside?

If you can get to the feed roller and remove it, usually a good cleaning will work wonders. Clean the rubber area with a dampened cloth and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth (an old clean tee-shirt works great). Don't use alcohol or other cleaning solvents as these may damage the rubber.""

Hope this helps you

So your problem is resolved, correct?
As you just discovered (and many other laser owners have yet to learn), these things do require some periodic maintenance.

(the excerpt you quoted from another thread looks like one of mine..... if so, glad it helped)
