Print Error on 1355cn
I have a new 1355cn printer connected through my network. I have two machines; a desktop wired to the router and a laptop using wireless, both running Windows 7 64bit. When I try to print my banking statement online with their user friendly print link using my desktop, I get the following error - Print Driver Host for 32 Bit Applications Has Stopped Working. At all other times it works. Using the laptop it works.
I've deleted every printer driver on my system, cleaned the registry and reinstalled the printer. Same thing.
I'm at a loss.
Any ideas any one?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi chuckmichael,
Welcome to the Community,
I did bit of research on this issue and i find lot of people got this issue resolved by following the steps in the post below:
www.personalcomputerfixes.com/.../print-driver-host-for-32-bit-applications-has-stopped-working-error-fix-on-windows-7
I suggest you can ignore the 3rd step.
Note: This is a 3rd party link and not a Dell support link.
Hope this helps,
Thank You
Roshan

Already tried that. Didn't work. I even uninstalled the software supplied by Dell with the printer and nothing changed.
Yesterday I tried to 'Print to File' thinking that if it worked I could then just print it. Same error. I reinstalled the Dell software, nothing to loose by this point, and on a whim (after getting the same error) tried to 'Print to PaperPort Image Printer'. That worked. It printed slightly differently then if I had printed it directly from the site, but still, it worked.
This is all getting very annoying and I do regret buying this printer. It took a month for Dell to tell me the fax won't work properly with VoIP, then the printer locked up and had to be replaced and now I have to take an extra step to print from my bank (I do admit that might not be the printers fault but still it is annoying).
Thanks for trying,
Chuck
