Printer 720 does not print

Question

Hi I have a dell photo printer 720. I didn't use it for 6 months. Printer properties shows Cartridge is not empty yet. But when I want to print, it takes the page and seems it is printing. But It don't print anything. I installed the driver again. But the problem exists yet. Can anyone say, is this the problem with cartridge? :-)

When you don't use your ink carts for a while, when you get new ink carts that have been stored in warehouses for a number of months, or when you have refilled a slightly too dry ink cart, the print head nozzles on the bottom of the ink carts get clogged inside with dried ink. The printer head cleaner menu will NOT dissolve the dried ink inside of the nozzles. Water will. Try this. Soak the bottom of the clogged ink cart in 1/2 inch of hot water for 15 minutes. Blot dry with clean paper towel. Also wipe the electrical contacts on the back of the ink cart. Retry.

Hi! I have the same problem woth my newly received printer it comes Free with recently purchased E1505. it doesn't print, it operates smoothly but no prints appear on the paper. I guess you're right it comes out after a long storage because it's free. i'll try ypu're advice soaking in hot water. i'll post the result here. thanks
