Printer Alignment problems

I just received a Dell All In One Printer 922 and I am experiencing alignment problems. Pages are printing and I think I've installed everything properly. Little help please? :smileysad:

I've read your posts and I think the reason your not getting any response is that your not being very specific specific your problem.  An alignment problem is very generic.  But, since you are new, I'm going to try to help.  Like most others who have experienced "alignment" problems, most people incorrectly assume that white lines appearing through text and even graphic (including pictures) horizontally is an alignment problem.  If you are experiencing lines through text, ect. this is not an alignment problem, but rather an ink delivery problem (there is nozzle clogged, this can happen even with new cartridges, such as yours).  Try using your printers AIO solution center to clean the cartridges.  You may have clean more than once.  Cleaning is no guarantee, you may actually have a defective cartridge.

If your text is "crooked", or lines don't match up vertically, this could be an alignment problem.  Once again use your AIO solution center to run an alignment program.  Afterwards, text and letters should be formed well.  Remember, that some printers especially the more affordable printers don't do well with vertical lines, unless printing at a very high quality.  This especially becomes apparent at faster printing speeds.

If after doing an alignment and head cleaning prints, this doesn't solve your problem, then contact Dell.  Have your service tag handy and be precise in your explanation of the problem.  If you get someone you don't understand (which can happen) politely say goodbye and try again.  This can be frustrating, but is better than trying to get help from someone you can't understand.

Also keep in mind that the 922 is fairly new, and the only people who use these forums are people who are also having problems, so you'll have to be patient.

Good Luck.

I currently use Epson R800, Dell AIO 962, Epson 1270, HP895Cse and HP990Cse.

I think I had a bug in my system and it was eating everything but everything is fixed. One program after the next was slowly going away but I just restored it:smileytongue:

Glad to hear, remember, come back to forums for any further assistance you may need.  Remember to be specific and most likely there will be someone to help you.

Good Luck.
