Printing 4x6 without white edges
I have a Dell computer and A940 printer. When I edit and crop my downloaded photos on Adobe Photoshop, they often no longer have the original proportions. With Jasc Print Shop 4.0.3 software, I can print exact 4" x 6" prints on its Kodak 8.5x11 sheet template with Fill Frame checked and then Pan the image to best fit the frame. So I get two perfect 4" x 6" prints to cut from a 8.5 x11 photo sheet.
But what I'd like to do is to be able to print them on 4x6 photo sheets so that the print covers the entire 4x6 photo surface. Even when I print from an exact 4" x 6" photo on the printer itself, it results with a white border. How can I have the photo cover the entire frame without ending up with white edges around the photo?

Ed,
Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.
As far as I know there is no borderless printing option for the A940 printer. I checked the product specifications and the printer manual and could find no reference to borderless printing for this model.

I am experiencing the same problem. Is there a printer Dell sells that can support the borderless printing?
Thanks,
Tanja

Tanja,
Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.
The Dell J740 has an option for borderless photo printing. You can find information on how to setup this for the J740 in the following Dell Knowledge Base article:
