This did not help. the video was for a different printer and I cannot find the maintenance settings on my DELL

My black printing was a shade of light grey and barely readable. When I renived the PHP, toner for the other three colours was visible, but not for the black. After reading an earlier post I tried tapping the PHP over our kitchen sink (with a paper towel in the bottom to catch the toner powder). Fine toner powder came from the other three ports, but very small lumps came from the black one. Pushing back the plastic sleeve and gently using a metal skewer I manged to clear the port of the clogged up toner. At last the printer is working properly again
