Printing problems on Home Network
My wife has a Dell Studio XPS and I have a nearly new Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop. Both are running Windows 7 and are set up on a "Home Network" using a netgear router. We have a Dell V313 printer on the home network that is physically plugged through a USB port on my wifes XPS. She can print with no problems. I on the other hand with my laptop can only print certain documents. Most general emails I can print but my CC statement, and military retirement pay statement when I try to print them I get the following error message: http://ieframe.dll/ error. I have uninstalled the printer from my laptop, restarted it yhen reloaded the printer but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

Hi Don,
Please try the steps from this link to fix “http://ieframe.dll/ error”: http://bit.ly/7csojU
When do you get this error message and which version of Internet Explorer are you using?
Perform the steps below and ensure that the services required for the printer to work are started.
1. Press the “Windows + R” to launch the run window.
2. Type “Services.msc” in the run window and hit the Enter key.
Right click each service mentioned below, click properties. Set the startup type as “Automatic” from the drop down menu and click “Start”. Please click “Apply” to save the changes.
The services to be enabled are:
•Human Interface Devices (HID).
•Printer Spooler.
•RPC (Remote Procedure Call).
•RPC Locator (Remote Procedure Call Locator).
•Windows image acquisition (WIA).
•Windows Installer.
Restart the system and try to print.
Please post the results.

The above options did not fix my issue. I found 3 items that were set as "Manual" that you said should be "Automatic, they were HID, RPC Locator, and Windows Installer. I am running IE9. My wife is running IE 10.

Hi Don,
To check if it is a problem with IE browser, try to print the same document from a different browser like Google chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Please post the results.
