tspringer,

Certain printer features are not available when Demo Mode is turned on.

From the printer control panel, navigate to:

>

MAKE SURE D EMO M ODE IS TURNED OFF

Demo Mode > Off

> save the setting

Make and model of your wireless router is helpful and the type of security used. What channel?

 tspringer,

Not sure this will work.

Turn off demo mode.

Unplug the printer from the wall. Remove the power brick from the back of the printer. Wait 60 seconds, then plug everything back in. Power on the printer. What happens?

I seem to be having almost the same issue! I can print from the laptop but the dell utility will not set the wireless connection up. Each time i go into the printer setup, the demo mode seems to be on, i hi-light off, then press ok. I am unable to set this printer up wirelessly :emotion-9:

First try running Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Uninstall the printer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings in your wireless router, I use channel 11.

With the computer online, insert the printer disk and install the printer. It will look online for updates, allow this to happen. Tell it this is a new installation. It will ask you to attach the printer to find your network. Hopefully this clear the demo mode from the printer, after it's setup.

Allow the printer past your virus protection and firewall.
