Hi Rick: I'm a heavy user of this printer and change out the cartridges (both black and color) every other week. I use genuine Dell Series 15 ink cartridges.
I removed the Power Brick for 60 seconds. Then plugged everything back in. Then I powered on the printer. I opened the printer(with the power on) and took out the Dell Series 15 black cartridge and then reseated it. I would then take out the color Dell Series 15 ink cartridge and reseated it. I closed the printer and it will printed an alignment page. I scanned the alignment page and it completed great. No error messages. Then I opened Dell Imaging Toolbox software and everything freezes. The PC locks up and Dell Imaging Toolbox software does not recognize the ink or anything. However, if I print a simple Word doc, it prints just fine.
Hello Rick: Its been a long time since I last replied. But, I have good news! I got a new WIN 7 laptop this week and installed the V105 driver and printer software. Now I can print and scan with no issues. Fingers crossed this issue is finally behind me. Thanks for your support!

Dell_user_XPS8500,
I saw you have another thread about a P513 Printer. Is this printer on the same system? Does this printer use Dell Imaging Toolbox?
Does the Dell V105 printer use Dell All-In-One Center, Dell Imaging Toolbox or Dell Printer Home?
Did you try running Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue, then restart your computer?
