I tried that, didn't help. I got a hold of Epson and they said to delete any folder except theirs from windows\twain32 folder. Now Epson scanner works. I would also like to have the dell working along side the epson. Can you help??

Sounds like the installation of the Dell driver and software overwrote the Epson V300.
* Disconnect all scanners from the computer
* Restart the computer
* Reinstall the Epson V300 Windows 10 driver and software
* Restart the computer
* Connect the Epson V300 and retest

wingingit2,

I can help with installing the Dell printer if I have the model number.

Do you have the printer disk that came with the printer? It contains the OCR Program, Abby Fine Reader, that is needed to scan and fax.

It is a Dell 962 All In One Photo Printer. I do not have the original disk, it is long gone.

Thanks for the assist Rick. The 962 drivers are here. You must choose your operating system. I am not sure which of them might contain the  OCR Program, Abby Fine Reader? Hopefully Rick can tell you.

wingingit2,

Try this procedure and see if the printer installs.

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.

Disconnect the printer.

Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode you’ll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time (powered on).

Links to the drivers can be found at…
