Squeak rollers

One of my older systems has started squeaking whenever it prints out. It seems like the paper feed rollers/mechanism is making the noise. I've tried cleaning it out with compressed air but it didn't do any good. Is there anything that I can do to reduce the squeak that doens't involve replacing the mechanism?

Have you tried putting a small drop of oil on them?  Don't use much, just enough to lubricate them.  DO NOT use WD40 or similar products.  You could use aerosol can oil or silicone, just protect the areas around the roller so it doesn't get on other parts of the printer.
