Uninstall printer icon in system tray - How to?
I have a Dell A920 printer and I deleted it out of my "Printers & Faxes" folder. However the printer icon continues to appear in the system tray on my Windows XP PC. How do you uninstall the icon software? My Staples PC salesperson told me Dell has a "Dell printer software Scrub". If so where is the download link. If not, what steps do I need to take?

Normally to remove a printer, you need to go to control panel, add/remove programs and select the printer from there and un-install it. Try this first and let me know if the printer is still there.
Make sure the printer is disconnected. Download and run this patch to completely remove the printer from your computer.
Restart your computer.
