Will Scan center scan to a PDF?
I have a Dell 1815dn and need to be able to scan to PDF. I don't have the install CD's any longer, so I was trying to find out if I even need to waste my time trying to locate them if scan center doesn't allow me to scan to PDF.

Hi ddierking,
The Dell Laser MFP 1815dn, will allow you to scan a document on your printer as a JPEG, TIFF or PDF formats. I am attaching the link for the user manual for this Printer for your reference.
• Please download the file and open the document.
• In the content overview page please find the Scanning Tab.
• Once you open the Scanning Tab, please find the complete details under Scanning Overview.
In case you could not find the Driver CD for installation, please click on the below mentioned link it will take you to the Driver Download page.

I downloaded driver, but still cannot find the scan center, only network scanner. Please help.

Hi ddierking,
Thank you for your reply. The Scan Center application is not available for download. As you are looking for an application that scans and saves in the PDF format; you can download or purchase any third party applications that is compatible with the Operating system. There are lots of applications available that you can use to scan and get the image in PDF; for example vuescan application from www.hamrick.com.
