Does the printer work when printing from other programs? If the problem only happens when printing from Word, there may be a problem with that particular program. Try uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of Word and see if that helps. Also post a message in the Software – MS Office Forums as you may get some good information on trouble-shooting MS Word in that Forum.
I discovered my problem. A bad installation resulted in Windows installing it's driver instead of the driver supplied with the printer. Once this was corrected my problem disappeared.
I am having the same problem (prints everything except from Word). Please explain how to correct this. I understand about Windows being the problem but do not know how to correct.
Even if you used the install CD that came with the printer and followed the directions correctly, Windows may have installed it's own driver. If you installed the driver from the printer CD try this.
Shut your computer down and turn the printer off. Now unplug your printer's USB cable from the PC's USB port.
Restart your computer. Once Windows completes it's startup, turn the printer on and plug the printer's USB cable into a different USB port. DO NOT PLUG IT INTO THE SAME USB PORT YOU REMOVED IT FROM.
Windows should not install the correct driver and hopefully solve your problem.
