Windows 7 and Dell AIO printers- (for Dell moderator perhaps?)

Currently have Vista x86 SP2 Home premium. With the release of Windows 7  in October, how is Dell going to handle their various printer drivers(and other devices) like my 946 AIO that is only 11/2 years old so that they work with 7? The MS upgrade window 7 tool says that my printer may not be compatible and to look for an 'update.'  My logitech trackball mouse apparently passed as nothing was said about that or any of the various MS programs and others that are currently installed. I had heard earlier that if the devices were compatible with MS Vista, they would work with Windows 7. Now, with the report of the  7 update tool, I don't know. Surely, a Dell customer will not have to purchase another printer to get all AIO functions to work.

Any thoughts or decisions by DELL about this would be greatly appreciated.

captbgnet,

I read from Microsoft that the Vista drivers are compatable with Windows 7. Dell will not provide drivers for Windows 7 until it is Offically Released. If it's anything like Vista, they will offer the drivers at a later date.
