e525w almost ALWAYS asked to load paper

Greetings. I have an e525w MFP that has served my low-volume needs well for years. Quite some time ago, it started requesting me to :Load paper then press ," even when the tray is full. I only use 8.5x11, and do not believe that I have ever entered any custom settings, so not sure what happened. Once I hit the , it prints fine. I have gone through the settings 25x and have not selected anything special.

I have scoured the interweb trying to see if there is a way to do a complete factory rest, but have so far come up dry. The manual does not mention anything about how to reset.

Hoping that someone here might be able to help.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Try clearing the memory by turning off the printer, remove the power cord from the printer and waiting a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn on. If that doesn't help, check inside the printer for any torn pieces of paper or any stuck gunk or obvious broken parts.  Support page for the printer is here-
