SMI-S with SE for VMAX and VNX arrays
Hi,
I installed and used SMI-S provider with Solutions Enabler integrated to discover a VMAX array.
Would be possible to use the same Vitual Machine (i.e. the same SMI-S) to discover another arrays, such as VNX? Or better to create a new VM with SMI-S only (without SE integration) for VNX?

Hi,
Yes you can use the same SMI-S agent used for the VMAXs to discover the VNX/Clariion Arrays for more details review the EMC SMI-S Release notes

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I know that is possible to use the same SMI-S provider for several arays but since the one we are using has also SE I did not know if there was a problem in using the same agent for other arrays.
