Problem with saving setting I made to google/Dell Start page.

I'm happy with the Dell start page once I clear out the junk I don't want...BUT.. when I log off the Internet with the CTRL/Shift/Delete close-out I lose all those settings and on next boot find the whole darned bunch of junk I don't want, missing weather locations I need, etc.  How do I save the setting I make so on boot I will have a familiar, and cleaned up, start page?
