powerpoint viewer 2007

Question

I have downloaded the 07 pp viewer.  When I try to open a pp file on my email I get an error message  'Command line option syntax error.  Type command/? for help'   File associations are ok.  The one file I keep trying to open is set to open with 07 pp viewer.  I haven't a clue what to do next.

Try saving the file to the PC and then open the file from the PC.  Otherwise, the file(s) you are trying to open may not be compatible with the Viewer.    You could try downloading the free Open Office suite of programs, that are compatible with MS Office, including PowerPoint.  The Open Office equivalent to PowerPoint is a full program, not just a viewer.  http://www.openorg.net/
