Alphabatize In word Doc

Is there a way to Alphabatize in MS Word. I need to make an Index list of songs that is aways being Up-dated, And I don't want to have re-do the whole list just to add a few new songs. Thank you in Advance. Mike.

Sure! Set your list up in a table (even if it's only a one column table). Then, choose Table --> Sort --> Ascending. When you add a new item, just put it in on the bottom of the list, select the entire table again, and re-sort it.

You're quite welcome, Mike. Glad I could help.

And, since you don't use Word that often, here's an easy tip for adding a new item at the bottom of your table: simply place your mouse cursor next to your last entry and press the Tab key. That will insert a new row. No need to pull down any menus to add a new row.
