CyberLink 5.3 Install Fails - CLScan Error OpenPhysicalMemory failed
I bought a new hard disk and more memory for my Dimension 8400. I also bought and successfully installed Windows 7 and Office 2007 using the new drive. I am trying to reinstall the applications and drivers that came with my original XP system. I can't install my CyberLink PowerDVD 5.3.1012. After selecting the language, the Install Shield fails with:
CLScan Error !
OpenPhysicalMemory failed...
This software can only be installed on a DELL, Unbranded system
Am I missing some Dell file, or is this related to the increased memory (which I bought from Dell)?

I have exactly the same problem, but with a brand new Vostro 1500 and PowerDVD 9. Did you ever find out how to do it?
