Update. Restarted after the Power DVD update had been applied. Now, no longer receive the DMX Runtime error on restart. Can open DMX, can move around in menus, not sure if its working 100% though. Went to Extras, clicked on Update link, it downloaded a patch to 2.2 from cyberlink site which was different from the link that had the corrupt zip file. This successfully installed.
Ran Windows Update again to see if DirectX is detected as not installed. It is not. Not sure if DirectX will work now, seems to be some conflicts between these apps.
Please advise if you have had similar experience/problem. Thanks.
