Dell Support Assist - scheduled checkup always disabled.

In my Dell Support Assist settings, under PC Checkup I have 'Enable scheduled hardware scan' checked and have a monthly time set to run, but in the main Notification windows under Checkup, it permanently says 'Scheduled Checkup Disabled'. I can run the hardware scan manually but if I forget, it never runs automatically.  How can I un-disable the auto scan?

I  am not experiencing any messages about not being able to automatically start a scan but never the less my scheduled scan will not start as created but as far as I can tell the support assist is working in every other way.  I have called Dell a few times about this and have reinstalled 2 or 3 times still does not work.  I have all the latest windows updates, if this should matter, and have not gotten any alerts after running the assistant  manually.  Just will not start at the scheduled time. Dell has looked at my computer and ran various tests but to no avail. I do believe there is a flaw in the technology and sure would appreciate some ones take on this situation and, if I am correct, when a fix should be initiated because this should not be happening.

One more thing: I know that at times windows updates can play havoc with various operations and perhaps this might be the cause; but, then again this might be a bit of a strech?

Sincerely,

Hi @oldblueeyes

Please share SA installed version on your system.

SupportAssist schedule scans are silent from 3.6 onwards, if you are using version equal or greater than 3.6 then there will be no schedule scan pop-up message.

You can check schedule scan details under History tab on SupportAssist.
