I just recently installed Microsoft Office XP Professional 2003 on my DELL Dimension 2400 to upgrade Windows 2002 XP Home Edition. Soon after that, I began to install Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and end up with this following message.
Installation Error: File not Found
A required installation file ZA561401.CAB could not be found.
Original Installation Source Required:
If you installed Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 from a CD, please insert your
CD. If you installed Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 over your computer network, please browse to the installation source on your network. Once you have located your installation source, click OK.
Now, I did tried installing Windows Installer 3.1 to see if this would help me update the files that I might be missing off my computer and nothing happened. I know I didn't delete this file because I normally do not touch files that were automatically installed on the system. Any help I would appreciate it very much? I also don't know what network I may be using on my computer.
Office 2003 doesn't upgrade Windows XP which is an operating system, not an applicatio program.
You recently installed Office 2003 and soon after began to install Office 2003?
I suggest you re-examine your post and repost more clearly.
Was the file requested (ZA561401.CAB) or (PA561401.CAB) If the file requested was PA561401.Cab review the Microsoft help file below. If file requested was ZA561401.cab disregard.
I am pretty sure it was ZA561401.cab. I remember looking at that article earlier. I just don't know why I am receiving this message if the file was not on my other operating system.
